Institutional research is research conducted within an institution of higher education to provide information that supports institutional planning, policy formation and decision making.

Loyola University New Orleans is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). 

Our current Carnegie Classification is Master's L: Master's Colleges and Universities (larger programs).
