Welcome to Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for strategic planning, administration and evaluation of academic programs, resource allocation, budget analysis, assessment, and academic policies. In addition, Academic Affairs provides leadership and is responsible for a wide range of matters concerning institutional effectiveness and accreditation requirements and processes; coordination of co-curricular activities and new student orientation with the Office of Student Affairs; coordination of commencement planning, public relations, fund raising, and advancement initiatives with the Office of Institutional Advancement; and coordination of strategic resource allocation with the Office of Finance and Administration.

Transforming Loyola 2020

Under the leadership of Provost Marc Manganaro and Dean William Locander, the University Strategic Planning Team developed a new strategic plan, Transforming Loyola 2020. The new plan was approved by Loyola's Board of Trustees in October 2014.
