If you have equipment that you no longer need or want, follow the steps below to ensure that the hardware, as well as your data are properly disposed of.
1. Go to the Purchasing web site. Under forms, you will find one labeled Disposal of Surplus Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment.
2. Fill out the form, making sure you supply all of the information requested. Submit the form.
3. A representative from WFF will pick up and deliver the unwanted equipment to a storage located in the Purchasing Department.
NOTE: Information Technology will assess all of the equipment in storage. All data will be securely erased from all hard drives. If the equipment is reusable on campus, it will be refurbished. If the equipment is unable to be reused, it will be properly recycled.
