Short Bio

Joseph T. Locascio was born on October 21, 1958. Little did he know that the experiences of his life would lead him to Loyola at this place and time in history. Joseph was working for a Bank as a Computer Operator and going to night school at UNO in 1979 when he got a call from a friend about a job at Loyola. He jumped at the chance to work for the Jesuits and also to be able to go to Law School. His Grandfather had always shaken a set of keys in front of him and said, “son, when you graduate from Law School they will give you a set of keys to open any door you want.” Joseph worked his way up from a Computer Operator to his current position as Director of Computer and Network Services. Along the way he met his future wife at Loyola and they have two children.
