College life is more than classes, sports, and organizations. Loyola has all of the other resources you need to help you stay healthy and safe as you pursue your academic goals and enjoy your time at Loyola.

The Basics

  1. Whether you live in a dorm or off campus, you're a member of the Loyola community.
  2. Hungry? There are dining locations scattered througout campus.
  3. Not feeling well? Want to avoid getting sick? Need to get an immunization shot? Student Health Services is the place to go.
  4. Having trouble adjusting to college life? Problems with a friend or roommate? Just need someone to talk to? Contact the Counseling Center.
  5. The Public Safety Department offers a variety of preventive services, including escorts, blue light phones, and closed circuit cameras.

The Extras

  1. Participate in PACKport, the award-winning program just for first-year students at Loyola.
  2. Check out the University Calendar and attend one of the diverse cultural events, lectures, art exhibits, or musical performances on campus.
  3. Keep up with campus news with The Maroon, Loyola's weekly newspaper, and The Wolf, Loyola's magazine.
  4. Get off campus and explore New Orleans. Walk across the street to Audubon Park, take the shuttle to Audubon Zoo, or take a streetcar ride down St. Charles Avenue to the French Quarter.
  5. Take a walk down to the newly revitalized Freret Street corrider for great neighborhood shopping and dining.
