Short Bio
Dr. Sumich is a British historian whose focus is early modern Europe. Her research interests include disease and medicine in society and the interplay between disease and the history of New Orleans. In addition to her teaching duties with the history department, Dr. Sumich is the Associate Director of the First-Year Experience for Loyola.
