Director of Retention and Student Success
M.Ed., Columbia University, 2009; M.A., New York University, 2006; B.A., Georgetown University, 2000
My job is to help first-year students as they transition to college life at Loyola New Orleans. I partner with colleagues and offices across campus to support students intellectually and personally. I study enrollment data and apply for grants that support student persistence. My goal is to help Loyola students enjoy an enriching college experience as they work toward to graduation.
Prior to joining the Loyola community, I was the college counselor at the New Orleans Charter Science and Math Academy, a charter school in New Orleans East. I also worked as an advising dean at Columbia University and in undergraduate admissions and faculty administration at New York University.
I graduated from Georgetown, and received a master’s degree in higher education administration from New York University, and a second master’s in higher and postsecondary education administration from Columbia. I am originally from the suburbs outside of New York, and now love living in Uptown New Orleans with my family.
